Jul 18, 2023Syncros frame bags debut with high design, clever features
First spotted at Roc d’Azur, the all-new Syncros bikepacking framebags and saddle pack give you a sleek option for multi-day rides.
The new bikepacking range offers four pieces – saddle, handlebar, top-tube, and frame bags. All are waterproof and are easily adjustable, letting them fit almost any standard double-triangle frame…whether it’s a road, gravel, or mountain bike.
The saddle and handlebar bags contain dry bags to keep your gear safe and dry, and can easily be pulled out of the mounting harness for easier packing and usage without having to completely unbuckle it from the bike.

The Saddle Pack uses a criss-cross seat tube strap to increase contact surface without adding additional buckles, plus saddle rail straps to keep it from swaying. Both of those wrap around the bag, compressing the load and capturing the dry bag inside. Max volume is 9L and retail is $110.

The Handlebar Bag’s dry bag uses a full length wterproof zipper to make it easier to dig through, but you can still scrunch it down to reduce the overall width to fit inside your drop bars. Padded bumpers keep it spaced away from your bar to maximize hand positions on the tops, and a loop on the front can hold a headlight. Max capacity is 8.15L and MSRP is $130.

The top tube bag uses a bolt-on direct mount for a more secure and cleaner attachment. It measures 11cm tall, 6cm wide, and 25cm long to provide 0.85L capacity. It’s a one-handed open and close with magnetic snap and water-resistant shaping to keep the elements out (the material itself is waterproof). MSRP is $60.

and the frame bag offers two separate zipped compartments for easy access, both with two-way zippers, and two sizes (3.25L and 5.67L) to fit a variety of frames. The rear attachment strap has a loop to attach a tail light, which is a nice feature. The main strap covers both top- and down-tube attachment points to keep it from swaying (and also giving it a uniquely sleek look). MSRP is $90.
